Isle Royale National Park Weddings
The most common site for a wedding on Isle Royale is the Rock Harbor Area arranged by the park’s concessioner, Forever Resorts. Additional conditions apply outside of Rock Harbor. Weddings may be scheduled up to one year in advance and not less than 21 days prior.
A Special Use Permit is required for any wedding within Isle Royale National Park. There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee and a subsequent permit fee of $100. If an event monitor is required for outdoor activities not arranged by Forever Resorts, there will be an additional charge of $50 per hour.
No formal wedding receptions are allowed except within concession authorized buildings in Rock Harbor arranged by the concessionaire.
