Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding Planning

Rocky Mountain National Park Weddings:

There are 15 wedding locations available at Rocky Mountain National Park. Different locations have different rules regarding availability, the number of guests permitted, length of time, vehicle maximums, chairs and other items. Options for more than 50 guests include Hidden Valley (100), Lily Lake Southside Picnic Area (100), Moraine Park Visitor Center Amphitheater (100), Harbison Meadow Picnic Area (60), Upper Beaver Meadows (60). Copeland Lake has a maximum of 50 guests.

A permit is required for all weddings in RMNP. A $150 non-refundable administrative fee is required along with the application. Normal park entrance fees apply to all guest vehicles.

The permit does not give exclusive use of the area. The park generally restricts the use of tables, chairs, tents, banners and other decorations. Simple ceremonies are the best way to comply with these terms. Some sites may offer seating in the form of wooden benches or a few picnic tables.

Nearby Wedding and Reception Locations: Estes Park provides a number of different options for receptions as well as wedding sites.
