Grand Teton National Park Wedding Planning

Grand Teton Weddings

The Teton Range makes a beautiful backdrop for any wedding. There are several lodges, chapels and outdoor locations around Grand Teton National Park for a wedding. Other wedding and reception venues are available around Jackson Hole that are near the park but do not require compliance with National Park Service regulations.

Jackson Lake Lodge

Jackson Lake Lodge offers wedding packages for 2017 that range from $99 per person to $169 per person and up. Options range from a dinner buffet package to traditional plated dinner to a station package with personal pasta and carving station. Wedding packages do not include room rental fees, flowers, photographers or entertainment. All prices are subject to 6% Wyoming State sales tax and 20% service charge.

Private event rooms can accommodate up to 250 guests. Event facility prices range from $6,000 to $12,000 and up. Prices are highest for Saturday weddings. The wedding cake and all food must be provided by Jackson Lake Lodge. Unique rehearsal dinner options include Snake River Rafting & Western Steak Fry, a Elk Island Dinner Cruise, and a Pool Terrace BBQ (with mountain views and campfire pit).

Jackson Lake Lodge is typically open from the third week of May through the first week of October. A certified wedding planner is required for all Jackson Lake Lodge receptions. Outdoor ceremonies are available at the Southwest Terrace on the hotel grounds, though it remains open to the public. In case of inclement weather, a backup location within the hotel is reserved.

Other Venues inside the Park

Colter Village, Signal Mountain Lodge and Jenny Lake Lodge are run by park concessioners and are also available for weddings.

Churches

Grand Teton also provides the option to get married in a church on national park grounds. Available options are Chapel of the Sacred Heart and Chapel of the Transfiguration (St. John’s Episcopal Church). Contact each church directly to discuss a ceremony at their facility.

Permits

A permit is required for all weddings in the park that are not held in a chapel or a concession facility. The permit fee is $100 and is nonrefundable. Location options include Signal Mountain Summit, Schwabachers Landing, Mormon Row and Blacktail Ponds Overlook.

No activity that interferes with normal activities of visitors is allowed. No disturbing vegetation; throwing items such as birdseed, rice or flower petals; or releasing animals, birds or butterflies. No structures, chairs, bands sound systems or other similar items may be used (unless inside a concessions building through the concessioner’s contract). All vehicles must be in designated parking areas. Other restrictions may apply.
