Grand Teton National Park
Grand Teton National Park is part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, which protects 18 million acres. Located in Jackson Hole, it is a popular destination for outdoor recreation. The park contains majestic mountain peaks, the beautiful Snake River, the pristine Jackson Lake, diverse wildlife, and over two hundred miles of trails.
Open / Close / Reopening Status of Grand Teton National Park due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
No visitor access is permitted to either Grand Teton or Yellowstone. State highways and/or roads that transcend park/state boundaries and facilities that support life safety and commerce will remain open.
The Grand Teton Lodge Company has announced anticipated operating dates for some of its facilities. Colter Bay Village and Headwaters Flagg Ranch will have phased openings with campgrounds and RV Parks expected to open on June 5th. Gros Ventre Campground is expected to open May 29th. The Jenny Lake Campground and store are still to be determined. Jackson Lake Lodge and Jenny Lake Lodge are not expected to operate.
The anticipated opening date for Signal Mountain Lodge run by Forever Resorts is June 5th.
